Types of Poetry

This is one of the Types of Poetry.
A short poem about... Sandals... and travelers... and other things.

Sandals

by

Richard A. McCullough

Sandals left upon the sand
from travelers left upon the wind.

We were walking,
friends and I,
when we met them,
and the sea receded
and the sand curled around their toes
and backrolled from the soles
and they were standing,
while the moon shimmered glass
beneath them.
